But don’t just take out word for it, let’s hear it from our residents themselves. We sat down with a resident of Leinster House, Antonio, and chatted all about his time in London and living with LHA.

Hi Antonio! What has brought you to London?

“I came here to find a new opportunity and remake my life.”

What do you do for a living?

“I’m working as a receptionist in a hotel, while also studying Business and Management at university.”

How long does it take you to get to work?

“Less than one minute – it is on the same street.”

How long did it take you to find a job after your arrival at Leinster House?

“Pretty quickly, I sent a lot of CVs once I arrived and found a job in around one week.”

What are the advantages of living near your workplace?

“Because of my short commute, it gives me more free time to do other activities.”

Do you think that Leinster House is well located for what you need?

“Yes! It is in a safe and quiet area, but very well connected. Oxford Street is just 10 minutes by bus, which is not only great for helping people to find work but for general shopping.

Leinster House is so close to my workplace and I can be at university in 10 minutes by bus.

I feel very comfortable in this area because I have everything I need nearby – such as supermarkets, pharmacies, the library and a gym.”

Would you recommend Leinster House to anyone wanting to live in London?

“Yes – the atmosphere in Leinster House is so nice, I get along well with my roommates and the other residents. I think this is one of the best areas in London, as we are close by to Hyde Park and Notting Hill. The price is also very convenient for young people.”
