LHA London’s most recent re-investment into quality and affordable accommodation nears its final stages at Belvedere House this week as the finishing touches are applied to the ground floor and the external scaffolding begins to come down. Christmas time can be challenging for this industry with occupancy typically low, however these new rooms came on the market and sold quickly to students and young working people, many of whom are still staying with us today.
Below are some of the images from the site taken this week.
The reception area has been redecorated:
The study room is a great space for our students to complete coursework and readings, with shelves full of novels our residents have left behind:
We’ve completed renovated the kitchens, replacing entire units/ovens and fridges:
In some of the communal rooms, residents have complimented the renovations with their own decorations:
The laundry room looking as clean and impressive as a laundry room can!:
Showers and wet rooms have been completed re-tiled, with new shower units:
Toilets, which are cleaned daily, now have a modern look:
All beds at Belvedere House now have the new ‘Air’ mattresses, offering quality support and comfort. New bedroom furniture and curtains help freshen the twin rooms up and all non en-suite rooms have a vanity unit:
Watch this space as we reveal our next major development at Torquay house soon, which is its final stages before project completion.
